Stay Tuned
Well I haven't posted in awhile because I am in the process of creating a new blog. Now I was going to make it simple and just create a new one on blogger, but my hubby is a programmer and a website developer and he really wants to create me my own customized with an interface and everything. I think it is pretty sweet of him. So I won't be posting much until we get it created. It will be a blog were I will write about so much more than just knitting. I want to write about all my crafty adventures, homeschooling, child rearing, homemaking, cooking, and other such things. It may take awhile for it to take off in the way I would like but I have a vision in my head and it excites me!!! :)

Stay tuned.

Not Much Knitting
So it's hard to knit with a newborn. :) Whenever my hands are free I'm cleaning or cooking or doing home school with Ben. I am trying to add a half hour of knitting in after I read my Bible every night as I listen to Homemakers by Choice. I just started doing this so hopefully that will help me finish a few projects this year. Of course Hadi wont' be a baby forever and soon she'll be running all over the place and not want to cuddle with me. Time goes by so fast. So since I have no knitting to show you I'll distract you with pictures of the children.

Ben loves his little sister so much!! I just love watching him play with her and hold her. We are blessed with great kids.

Ben playing with Hadi's car seat box. Nothing like a big box to entertain.

Proud daddy.

Another one of Ben holding Hadi. I just love the look on his face. He adores her so much.

I love this one. I was trying to catch her smiling at Grammy but I missed it. You get a smirk instead.

And last but not least Hadi in her rain forest gym. She is getting used to playing in it more and more. So cute.

She's Here! :)
Here is our newest little one. She was born on November 12th at 8:16pm. She is such a blessing!! She weighed in at 8 lbs. 11 oz. and was 21 inches long.

Ben (big brother), Nana, and Hadassah the night she was born.

Sleeping in her bassinet.

Sucking her thumb while waiting for Mommy to feed her.

No Baby Yet
No baby yet but we do have a new home! 9 more days until my due date and I am not so patiently awaiting her arrival. At 2:20pm today I will be more pregnant than I ever was with my first. :) She is just warm and comfy in there. Anyway, just wanted to write a quick update that the baby isn't here yet, in case you thought my absence meant she was.

Here is the finished Tulips Cardigan. It is made out of Dream in Color but I don't know all the colors. It was a kit from our trip to Seattle on the Sea Socks Cruise.

Ben's New Hat

Project info
Name: Ben's New Hat
Pattern: Kim's Hats by Kim Hamlin
Craft: Knitting
Made for Ben
Size: Women's Modified on the Length

Needle and yarn

Needle: US 8 / 5.0 mm
Yarn: Rowan Soft Baby
How much? 1 skeins = 164.0 yards (150.0m)
Purchased at: My Yarn Shop in Coos Bay, Oregon

Ben lost his red hat from Christmas last year at a soccer game. He was super sad and cried for days about it. So we went and picked out new yarn and I made him a brand new hat. He immediately put it on when I was done. He keeps saying I love my new hat mom. And he just said "Mom, I think I'll wear my hat to bed." How can you not knit for a guy who loves his hand knits so much. :)
