Lace Oh Lace

So I have learned that I do not like knitting lace. At least not in BIG stole like sizes. This is how far I got on the Secret Stole before I realized this was not my cup of tea. I mean why was I spending all this time knitting something that I knew I would never wear. Now someday I may be a lace stole type person but not now. I may do some lace in socks or in scarfs or whatever but not in this variety. At least I know I can do it though.

Here is a close up so you can see the beads.

So there is my lace story. :)

You knit lace so beautifully! The yarn/pattern/bead choice is lovely ~ but it's true that you should knit only what you want to wear or gift... still, well done!!!

Do finish the stole!! You can wrap your newborn baby in it when you come home from the hospital and then give it to her for her wedding or to him for his new bride.
