New Stuff
I've been such a bad knitting blogger lately. :) I've got so much going on. I am getting ready to leave for China and Thailand for a mission trip on the 4th of July so I've been busy with all that kind of stuff. I also bought a new car since I posted last. Now I just need to get my butt in gear and start working my Mary Kay like a business to pay for the car. It may just be the motivation I need. I've also got a little closer to my goal, not much, but that's because two weeks ago I gained for the first time. But I am back on the wagon and losing once again. :)

In knitting news, I'm working on a frog purse for my aunt and am really close to being done. I just need to go to my lys today and get some help and then felt it. Hopefully I will have pics of that real soon. I'm also working on a cute tank top dress for my niece. I started it a few days ago and was cruising right along when I read the note about how I was supposed to do all the decreases I had just finished. So now it is off the the frog pond for me. :) My goal is to get that ripped out today so I can get back to where I was on it. So that's about it. I will post again with pictures real soon I promise.

Weight Loss and Other Such Nonsense
I lost 2.2 pounds this week!! That means I have only 10.6 to my first goal. Some of you have thought that is all I have to lose but alas it is not. I am just cutting it down into smaller chunks.

I am so excited about the new kal for the Sexy Knitters Club. It is the first one I actually like and will participate in. Except I am making the first tempting instead of tempting 2. :) I found yarn in my stash for it so now I just need to swatch. I will post pics of yarn choices and swatches soon.

I withdrew from school on Monday. I just have too much on my plate right now and I am doing none of it well. Plus my life and close relationships are suffering because of it. I feel like a huge burden as been lifted. I am currently working on dealing with fear and such in getting my Mary Kay business at a level that will provide a wonderful living for my son and I.

In other news, I have half the money for my mission trip! I am trusting God it will all get in. We mailed out for my China visa today. I still don't have enough for the plane tickets and those have to be purchased soon, but I know God has it under control. We leave July 4th. I am so excited and scared!

Anyway, Ben is calling my name from the tub. I'd better go rescue him. :)

I Did It
I did it! My blog is back up and running. Aren't you all excited!?!?!?!? Not that any of you really missed it but I love the new look. I've been knitting a little. Not as much as I should but I'm trying to get over guilt of doing certain projects. For some reason I was feeling guilty about working on my hip hop coat since it will be too warm to wear it when it is done. But I decieded, screw it, I love knitting it. So as soon as I am done with my Aunt's bag for her birthday I am pulling it back out. I finally did a bag for my sister that I bought the yarn for a long time ago. I know she'll love it. The purse for my aunt is a the frog from Nicky Epstein's book. Sorry I don't have any pics for you all. Enjoy the new blog!
